Competitive FNAF on ROBLOX
Five Nights at Freddy's Doom is a free-to-play ROBLOX experience that brings the hit horror franchise, Five Nights at Freddy’s, on the sandbox platform. Like other games in the main series, it tasks players with surviving in a restaurant haunted by animatronic monsters.
While the premise is unoriginal at this point, Five Nights at Freddy's Doom stands out among FNAF games through its competitive multiplayer mode. Combine this with smooth animation and equally disturbing monster designs, and you have a better alternative to Five Nights at Freddys 2 FNAF 2 or Five Nights at Freddys FNAF 1.
Try to survive all nights
Like the original FNAF games, Five Nights at Freddy's Doom also follows the same basic premise. You are a worker assigned to a Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza branch, filled with different animatronic puppets. When night falls, these puppets spring to life and it’s up to the player to keep track of the restaurant while trying to run away from those murderous creatures.
This spinoff is simpler, almost removing the CCTV aspect of the originals and tasking you with simply outrunning and evading the enemy. It does a good job of recreating the pizza restaurant, while adding new rooms and features that make the game more replayable. Also as mentioned, the game includes a competitive multiplayer game where you need to set up traps against other players and be the last one standing.
Of course, the changes in this ROBLOX experience gets divisive. Here, the animatronic puppets have different movement patterns and abilities, which add to the enjoyment. Meanwhile, the removal of the strategic aspects of the original takes off some of the appeal of the game. Other than this divisive change, the game runs well and offers a lot of replayability value.
A simplified yet enjoyable FNAF
Admittedly, there are a lot of Five Nights at Freddy’s games created within the ROBLOX engine. However, if you’re after a simplified survival experience built on the thrill of the FNAF monsters chasing you, Five Nights at Freddy's Doom is a great option. It has a massive remake of the iconic restaurant and offers new features not included in the original.
